Hummingbird Photography Fun

There is no shortage of hummingbirds this time of year in Louisiana. We normally fill up our small feeders 3 or 4 times daily.

And they are getting more and more used to our presence, so I’ve been able to stand closer to where the feeders are hanging without spooking them off.

Which in turn allows me better opportunities to photograph these little blurs of motion. To date, I think these are the best pictures I have taken so far of them, and I am super proud of how they turned out!
