Grand Cane Methodist Church

Tucked among the trees at the corner of State Highway 171 and Eatman Street, the Grand Cane Methodist Church has that rural, picturesque look and feel.

Having driven through this area of DeSoto Parish more times than I can count, it has always held my interest as a photographer. I have even snapped a few pictures of the church with my Canon Rebel T6s DSLR in the past.

However, with a roll of Kentmere Pan 400 black and white film loaded in my Minolta X-700, I knew on this particular day (my birthday, to be exact!) I would document this rural charm.

Below are the images I made.
