Beneath the Trees at Prospect

There is something familiar about old country churches in Louisiana. They are all unique in their own way, but do share some similarities.

What I notice most is the design, architecture, color, and feel. The era for a lot of them may be the same, too.

Their stories are different. And I think that is one of the main things that I am drawn to when I find these old country churches.

I happened upon the Prospect Church and cemetery this past weekend and had to document its charm and character.
