Sometimes the long way around pays the biggest reward.
I had been out driving backroads for a while when I decided to make somewhat of a U-turn on the next road and head back towards home.
But halfway through the left turn, I straightened my wheels and took to climbing the hill on the dirt road instead, planning to drive only a little way.
Turns out, the little ways portion was true because just around the curve on the right, I spotted this story that needed telling…
