The Old Post Office Building In Mansfield, Louisiana

While photographing the Original DeSoto Parish Courthouse, I noticed an imposing old structure to the northwest, just one block away, and I made a mental note to visit it before leaving.

Turns out, the building was the (old) US Post Office. Based on nearby signage, this area is part of Historic Downtown Mansfield.

I find this type of architecture and structure fascinating. They really built buildings from that era to last.

I would absolutely document this building (no questions asked).

All pictures were created with a Canon EOS 7D and a Sigma EX 17-50mm f/2.8 OS HSM DC lens. The RAW files were developed and edited with Canon DPP4 software.
