Brick Forest

Old bricks have some of the best textures. I also think that if those bricks could talk, man, the stories they could tell.

This building in the old downtown Ruston, Louisiana area has some of those very bricks on the north-facing side.

I have been meaning to create some images of this building’s bricks, and on this Sunday, I noticed something else as I cruised by on my way to wash my truck.

There were some kinds of vines or ivy growing up the bricks that looked like a sparse group of little trees (or their silhouettes).

These pictures were created with a Nikon Z50 and a Nikkor Z DX 16-50mm lens.
