Many of the scenes of the images I’m sharing below, I have seen (or even photographed) countless times in the past. Not only did I have an itch to scratch with new-to-me gear (Canon EOS 7D), something drew me to document them on Sunday, March 8th, 2026.
So that’s what I did.
These types of old structures, implements, and other country scenes are slowly disappearing from the landscape. Therefore, I take every opportunity I can to create images of them.
These images were created with either of 2 camera/lens combinations: a Canon EOS 7D paired with a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 IS II USM lens, or a Canon EOS RP with an adapted Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens. The RAW files were developed with Canon DPP4 software.
